There was no shortage of standout individuals behind the booths, including celebrity chefs, enthusiastic small-business owners and even one of the chefs that works at the White House! It's always time for dessert! The combination of familiar snacks and desserts was one of the biggest trends we noticed while scouring the endless aisles of food. The first booth was larger than life - a full-size RV that Delverde Pasta (http://www.delverde.eu/) takes on the road so they can eat and showcase their pasta wherever they like. Not only was the bus impressive, but they were showing a live Italian soccer game from the EuroCup 2012. Needless to say, the crowd of Italian men (and other soccer fans) grabbed our a...

ShowGirlTalk arrived in Washington DC this past weekend, hungry for the latest in food trends, innovations and samples!
